Stupidly healthy — Moju's Ginger Booster juice shot

Stupidly healthy — Moju's Ginger Booster juice shot

At the moment I'm practically living off Moju's Ginger Booster. It's a shot similar to the ginger, apple and lemon shot I used to make with my juicer, but packaged in a handy little grab and go bottle (with a lot less washing up).

I love ginger. Whenever I cook with it I use a tonne, I love it in my tea, etc etc. This shot is a lovely spicy kick that's especially good on the cold mornings that we still seem to be stuck with.

I started adding my shot to a mug of hot water over winter to fight any illnesses that might have been coming my way — it's such a comforting drink. But then I had a brainwave.

I drink at least one cup of matcha green tea a day. It's my go to drink, energy booster and health preserver. I like my green tea with ginger in (obviously) so wondered what it was like to mix together the Moju shot and my matcha, to create a weird spicy green love child.

Turns out I'm on to something. The tastes go together perfectly, and are so energising to drink first thing in the morning. I get to my desk and prepare one of these before I do anything else. As well as all its amazing benefits (good for digestion, weight loss, energy levels and loads more awesome things) it just tastes great. Who can argue with that?

So just pop a quarter of a teaspoon of matcha in your favourite mug, then pour in your ginger shot. Mix these together until you get a paste like consistency, then add hot water and whisk/stir until dissolved.

Stupidly healthy.
